Users and Groups in Linux Mint 13 XFCE

EDIT 12/10/2012: After a month or two with XFCE I wiped my laptop and tried Mint x64 Cinnamon. I can’t recommend cinnamon enough. Lightweight and beautiful. Checkout the LAS review of Mint 14 cinnamon here:

All I was trying to do was add my local account to the vboxusers user group so USB support is available in Virtual Box. One problem… No users and groups?? FML.

sudo apt-get install gnome-system-tools

There it is. Users and Group administration is not installed by default for whatever reason in Mint 13 XFCE. I finally found it buried 400 comments deep on the mint blog.

Users and Groups will now show up under the System menu.

Mint 13 XFCE is amazing, everything else has worked straight out of the box on my Dell Latitude 6220!
